This morning, when I went to run down by Magnuson Park with my Sunday morning running group, we saw a huge eagle swoop down near us and then we watched him perch in a tree by the water. I was so grateful that we did not miss it as it was quite the sight.
It reminded me of a prayer that I often said when I was teaching Sunday school for Anna and Taylor when we lived in Nashville:
Open our eyes that we would not miss one thing that You have for us today.
Hannah, may God open your eyes in this new year that you would not miss one thing that He has for you.
