This morning, Elizabeth, Jason and I went running around Green Lake. We are in the time of year when it is so dark in the mornings, and so I usually bring a headlamp with me. But this morning, I forgot to bring it. I was so grateful that Elizabeth did not forget hers because it was really helpful to see the road ahead of us and so that others could see us.
It was just one of those things that made me grateful for friends who pull through when we don't have something we need. This song came to mind called "Lean on Me" and so I just prayed for you today that you would have good friends to lean on and that you would be the kind of friend others would know they can lean on.
And I hope you know you can lean on me. :)
